As president and chief executive officer, John Driscoll is responsible for the overall leadership of Caron and serves as the organization’s primary spokesperson and advocate in the field of substance use disorder treatment and mental health services. A firm believer in the transformational power of Recovery, John personifies Caron’s "Recovery for Life" mission and its core values.
Well-regarded in the treatment sector, John is the former chair of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP) and is the current chair of the NAATP Foundation of Recovery Science and Education (FoRSE) that monitors quality outcomes within the industry. John also served on the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Coalition for National Clinical Criteria Steering Committee, the Joint Commission’s Behavioral Health Care and Human Services Accreditation Advisory Council, and Aetna’s Behavioral Health and Addiction Advisor committee. In addition, he currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Trustees for St. Croix Regional Medical Center (now St. Croix Health) in Wisconsin.
