Addiction treatment is an essential form of healthcare that transforms lives, families, and communities, yet it is often not considered as such. To break the stigma of addiction that prevents many from getting the care they need, we must undeniably demonstrate the impact of our services through data and scientific research. NAATP launched the FoRSE Addiction Treatment Outcomes Program in 2021 to accomplish this goal. Now with over 100 treatment centers participating internationally, with a database representing over 300,000 episodes of patient care, the FoRSE Program represents the flagship of NAATP’s work to improve treatment quality and access. In this presentation, we present the findings from the second year of FoRSE reporting on this unique, diverse, and expansive data set and discuss how we can collectively leverage our treatment outcome data to support our businesses and most importantly, the ever-growing population of individuals with substance use disorders.
Learning Objectives:
Identify key findings from the most recent FoRSE treatment outcomes data.
Discuss methods of leveraging outcome data to communicate the value of treatment with external stakeholders.
Learn how participation in the FoRSE program can support providers’ quality and advocacy initiatives.
