Policies & Agreements

Please scroll down to review the policies, terms, and agreements that apply to Exhibitors, Sponsors, and Attendees at NAATP National.

Attendee and Luncheon Cancellation Policy

Exhibitor/Sponsor Cancellation Policy

If written notice of cancellation is received before April 1, 2024, a refund less 50% of the contracted amount will be issued. Cancellation on April 1, 2024, and hereafter, shall result in forfeiture of the entire fee. Eligible refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of written notice of cancellation. All cancellations must be sent in writing via e-mail to NAATP at info@naatp.org.

Day Pass Policy

Day Passes are only for Monday or Tuesday and cannot be used to attend the Opening Night. Your badge will not be printed before your purchase day.

Eligibility Agreement

Compatibility with the Conference mission and the mission and values of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (“NAATP”) is important. NAATP reserves the right to determine eligibility and to accept or reject any exhibitor, sponsor, product, or promotion, at any time, that is not consistent with NAATP’s mission, values, ethics, character, or the purpose of the Conference. Promotional materials prepared for distribution or presentation at the Conference may be withheld and/or destroyed if deemed inconsistent with NAATP’s mission or values or if they are not in compliance with the submission guidelines. NAATP has the right to refuse, at any time, any organization or material that does not fit with NAATP’s mission or values. This determination is made at the sole discretion of NAATP.

Privacy Policy - Attendee List Distribution Disclaimer

It is the policy of The National Association to shield its members from unwanted marketing and sales efforts. For this reason, NAATP assures its members and conference attendees that their membership information, Addiction Industry Directory (The AID) listing and conference attendance information will not be shared in the form of list distribution.

Attendees Information Sharing on App

Each attendee can decide if they want to share their personal information through the conference app. They control how much information they provide. Attendees can share organization details, contact details, and social profiles.

Exhibit Booth Teardown Policy

Early booth breakdown is strictly prohibited. As we monitor, organizations in violation of this policy will jeopardize their approval to exhibit at future conferences. Please refer to your exhibitor kit with approved teardown times and keep in mind travel arrangements and staffing for the final day of the conference. The National Association is committed to stopping this practice to ensure the maximum benefits to all of our attendees.

Solicitation Policy

The aisles and all other spaces in the event space shall be under the control of NAATP. All displays, interviews, conferences, distribution of literature, or any other type of activity shall be conducted inside the space allotted to each exhibitor.

Termination of Event Policy

NAATP reserves the right to cancel or reschedule or relocate the Conference and/or terminate this Agreement in the event of unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to problems with the event location,  strike, lockout, injunction, acts of war, acts of God, emergency declared by any government agency, government restrictions, epidemics, pandemics, insurrections or other reasons or conditions making it unreasonable or impossible to hold the Conference. In the event of such cancellation, reschedule, relocation or termination, the Exhibitor or Sponsor waives any and all damages and claims for damages against NAATP.

Choice of Law; Forum

This Agreement shall be governed by, construed under, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without resort to any conflict of law principles.  If any dispute, controversy, or claim arises out of, relates to, or results from the performance or breach of this Agreement, the parties agree to attempt in good faith to negotiate a resolution.  If the parties' good faith negotiations do not result in a resolution within thirty (30) days from the date any dispute, controversy, or claim arises, then the parties will cooperate in good faith to resolve the dispute by mediation before proceeding to arbitration.  Such mediation shall be assisted by a neutral mediator acceptable to all parties and the mediation shall be held within sixty (60) days from the end of the parties' good faith negotiations.  If the dispute, controversy or claim is not resolved through informal negotiations or mediation, the matter shall be resolved by final, binding arbitration, held in Denver, Colorado, in accordance with the AAA’s Commercial Arbitration Rules (the “Rules”), and shall be decided by a single arbitrator mutually agreed upon by the parties or, in the absence of such an agreement, by a single arbitrator selected according to the Rules.  The arbitrator’s award shall be final and binding and judgment upon the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.  There shall be no appeal from the award except on those grounds specified by the Federal Arbitration Act and case law interpreting the Federal Arbitration Act.  All costs of the arbitration charged by the AAA and the arbitrator shall be split equally by the parties regardless of the outcome of the arbitration.
